The Opportunity
Springboard runs an online, self-paced Software Engineering Career Track in which participants learn with the help of a curated curriculum and 1-1 guidance from an expert mentor. Our mentor community – the biggest strength of our programs – comprises some of the best software engineering experts in the field.

The Program:
  • Completely online and self-paced

  • Coursework is made up of 800+ hour expert-curated curriculum in partnership with Rithm School

  • Are as passionate about teaching coding as about software engineering itself

The project and the job:
Over 150,000 clients use our plugins to build more than 1 million websites. Our QA Engineers validate updates and new functionalities before they reach our production websites. They need to be able to detect problems before they reach our clients, ensuring the reliability of our production environment.

As a QA Engineer, you will implement the automated tests that will run against staging copies of our production environments to validate developments and catch issues in the early stages of the development workflow.

We are looking for candidates located in EU or similar time zones. 

Skills required:
  • Working experience in PHP and Javascript (3 to 5 years)
  • 3+ years working experience with setting up and developing automated tests for websites and web applications
  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium and Codeception
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Strong experience using Git
  • Good analytical skills and capacity to break down bigger testing projects/requirements into smaller blocks

Job overview 

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at FYI, you’ll be working on FYI’s most critical user facing features on our mission to help everyone find information and always know what’s happening at work.
 What You’ll Do:
  • Architecture design, API design, data modeling.
